Since July 2009, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Knowledge Media Research Center in Tübingen following a research Masters programme into a new method for the reliable and early identification of dyslexia, University of Sussex (UK; Erasmus-programme 2009) and Utrecht University (NL; 2009). I started my career with a bachelor degree in Information Science at Utrecht University (2007). As a member of the Multimedia junior research group I am currently engaged in the analysis of cognitive processes involved in learning with text and pictures. I work closely with Dutch colleagues on cognitive processes while studying first-aid instructions and with English colleagues on cognitive processes during writing.
